Jessie received one of the Festival of the Arts Education Grants in 2004 when she was an art student at UWSP and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in 2006. She joined the council in 2014 and has been the Council Chair since 2015. Jessie works in Encaustic and owns Buzz in Art Studios in Arnott.
Owner of A Touch of Glass in Amherst. Tammy is a glass blower, jeweler, and educator.
I purchased an old church in early 2021 and moved the working studio and gallery. Complete with stunning stained glass windows the former site of St Patrick's Catholic Church was built in 1888 and provides me with so much more space...especially for classes!
I have been active in artisan shows throughout the United States. In addition to appearing on PBS Television and “Waupaca Now”, my work has has been published in several books

Diana Hoover is the proprietor of Strong Heart Creative Studios. She created our logo in 2008, when she was a professor of Graphic Design at UWSP. She retired in 2022 and in 2023 Diana joined our Council and continues to provide design work for our print and web promotions.
Melissa was raised in Plover. She is a scratchboard artist and travels across the country exhibiting at the top art festival is the country.
Melissa creates black and white, photo-realistic, and highly detailed scratchboard wildlife portraits influenced by wild and endangered species from across the world.
Sharon has been involved with glass for over 35 years, first as a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and currently as a full time glass artist with a studio near Amherst Junction, Wisconsin
Sculptor Paul Klein finds inspiration in century-old buildings, forests, shorelines and even his own backyard. The artist, who maintains a studio at his home in Amherst Junction, WI, believes that viable materials, or “local exotics,” can be found everywhere. Stressing the environmental ethics of appreciation for one’s surroundings, Paul explains, “I’m constantly amazed at nature’s treasures. Elly is a retired accountant and is in charge of our bookkeeping. She enjoys woodworking and reusing glass to make solar art. She currently participates in craft fairs.

There is nothing that gives me more pleasure than to create something from nothing. I believe that everyone is called to be creative but we need to find our unique path to fulfilling that creative nature.
Roberta is a full-time artist based in WI. She holds a B.S. of Art Education (1978) and a Master of General Education (1995) from UWSP. Roberta has taught visual art to public school students for 30 years. After retiring from teaching in 2017, she had the opportunity to teach at UWSP Interior Architecture Dept. from 2017-2019. Since then, she has been living the dream of being a full-time artist.

Molly joined FoA in 2019 as the Marketing Coordinator. She was born and raised in the Stevens Point area and graduated in 2020 with an Arts Management degree from UWSP. Molly now works full time and freelance in Community Relations, Event Planning, and Arts Marketing.
